My kids and I always look forward to the Easter festivities! Sometimes it feels like I don’t have much in common with my kids – but they definitely inherited my love for munching on chocolate.
I’ve put together this list of Easter crafts that we’ve done in the past, and hopefully you’ll find something here that you like too!
These crafts are great for parties, the classroom (if you homeschool/teach) – or even just to do on a weekend!
Paper Plate Easter Bunny Craft

This Easter Bunny kids craft is super easy and easily my favourite one, it’s toddler friendly and only takes a few minutes – perfect for some kids who might have a short attention span.
What Do You Need?
To make this craft, you’ll need:

- Pink and white construction paper (for ears and nose)
- Googly eyes (or black and white card for DIY eyes – see tip below!)
- Cotton ball (for the fluffy tail)
- Black marker (for whiskers and mouth)
- Glue or tape
- Scissors
How to Make the Easter Bunny
- Make the bunny ears – Cut two large ear shapes from white construction paper. Then cut two smaller pink ear shapes and glue them inside the white ears.
- Attach the ears – Glue or tape the ears to the top of the paper plate.
- Create the bunny’s face – Glue two googly eyes onto the plate OR make your own eyes using black and white card (see tip below!).
- Add the nose & mouth – Cut out a small pink paper nose and glue it below the eyes. Then, use a black marker to draw a cute bunny mouth and whiskers.
- Finish with a fluffy tail – Glue a cotton ball to the back of the paper plate to complete your bunny!
💡 Pro Tip: If you don’t have googly eyes, cut small circles from white and black card to make your own! Simply glue the black pupils onto larger white circles for a homemade alternative.

How to Make The Tube Chick
- Wrap or paint the toilet roll – Cover the toilet paper roll with yellow construction paper or paint it yellow and let it dry.
- Cut out the chick’s features – From orange paper, cut out a small triangle for the beak and two little feet. Cut two wing shapes from yellow paper.
- Attach the face & wings – Glue or tape the beak and eyes onto the front of the roll. Then, attach the wings to the sides of the roll.
- Make the feet – Glue the two orange feet to the bottom of the roll so your chick stands up.
